Its mission was to protect Republic worlds, escort important convoys, and transport clone forces across the galaxy. The Navy fought the Separatist fleet in large space battles and defended key trade routes. It operated famous ships such as the Venator class Star Destroyer and the Acclamator class Assault Ship. Clone pilots, naval officers, engineers, and marines worked together to keep the fleet running. Jedi Generals often commanded missions alongside experienced admirals. The Republic Navy also carried out rescue missions, patrols, and humanitarian operations when needed. Its strength and discipline helped protect the Republic during the war. After the Clone Wars ended, the Republic Navy became part of the new Imperial Navy.
