Description
𝐔𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓 ∎▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬∎ The Unusual Incidents Unit (UIU) is a branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation tasked with investigating and containing anomalous events within the United States. Although it lacks the resources or secrecy of the SCP Foundation, the UIU is tightly controlled by the government, handling domestic threats involving paranormal, supernatural, or otherwise unexplainable phenomena. While the Foundation seeks to contain and research anomalies on a permanent basis, the UIU is more interested in rapid resolution of incidents and public safety, along with minimizing exposure of the anomalous to the civilian populace. They operate in close conjunction with federal and local law enforcement agencies but are often hindered by limited funding and political bureaucratic red tape. ∎▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬∎
