Americans are optimistic. The addition of two more states gives us our new 45 star banner, we are winning wars against European empires and, some would say, forming an empire of our own, with the annexation of Hawaii, and territories taken from Spain. America is a vast nation stretching from the Atlantic to Pacific oceans. She produces and exports more industrial and agricultural goods than the rest of the world combined. American isolation is cracking. During this time America is attempting to shape itself to the image of Europe, however, as demonstrated by the culture and uniforms of the time, America cannot shake it's rural heritage. ------------------------------------ (W.I.P)
