Description
Welcome to APEX! The game is set in the year 2023, when a rising criminal organization known only as The Trident, utilizing a proxy comprised of smugglers, spreads across the entirety of the African Continent in force, selling weapons, raiding government property and dealing black market contraband. When the local governments are unable to handle the situation, they call upon the UN to send their peacekeepers to combat smuggling operations. As the conflict rages on throughout the various landscapes of the African continent, the suspicions of the smugglers having possession of experimental EMP weaponry grows bigger, and the NATO-overseen tier one unit known as the "Joint Task Force" is sent to investigate these matters, as well as assist the UN Security Forces on the various campaigns being liberated throughout Africa.
