I made this group when builders club was still around (2018'ish I think) to spread autism awareness and acceptance, because there are so many ableist people around who don't treat neurodivergent people very well. I want to change that! My goal: Show people on the internet what neurodiversity really means, which I'm hoping will create a more inclusive future! Stay Safe and Have Fun! Neurodiverse: A term to represent that everyone thinks differently. Neurodivergent: Anyone who feels like an outsider in a "neurotypical" run society. (Autism, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, etc...) These people are often clinically diagnosed but self diagnosis is still a completely valid option for those who can not afford or have other reasons for not being able to get clinically diagnosed, assuming that the person has done a ton of research on the topic. This is because the system is totally rigged, and lots of people go un/mis diagnosed for years, and sometimes forever, never knowing who they truly are.
