They are renowned for their wealth and status in Lys, with the bank of Rogare even having competed against the Iron Bank. House Rogare is also one of the few houses to own a Valyrian blade, named Truth. In relevant recorded history, Lysandro Rogare claimed himself to be the "First Magister for Life" which stirred unrest to the hierarchy of Lys.
