𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭/𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 This institutes purpose is to expressways and methods to advance a liberal ideology across all spectrums of politics but primarily focused on American politics, and Democrats. This institution's primary focus is debating ideas, as well as using collective action to achieve the purpose previously stated. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 With 2018 midterm elections season underway, our primary focus is getting liberal candidates elected into office in our respective communities, as well as discussing news events relating to the midterms and how they may influence the outcome. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥? A liberal is a person who typically identifies with left-wing politics. We take stances such as guaranteed basic income, livable minimum wage, women's rights, LGBT rights, minority rights, affirmative action, affordable health care, affordable housing, affordable college and so on.
