𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 c. 1990 The British Army is the land warfare branch of the His Majesty's Armed Forces, serving under the authority of the Crown and the Ministry of Defence. Army maintains a powerful presence in Western Europe through the British Army of the Rhine, deterring Soviet aggression during the final years of the Cold War. At home, its soldiers remain active in Northern Ireland, countering unrest during The Troubles. With a proud heritage dating back to 1660, the British Army upholds its reputation for discipline, professionalism, and courage.
