Knyazhestvo Bulgariya | Principality of Bulgaria (1885) "Prussia on The Balkans" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Principality of Bulgaria was a semi-independent Balkan state established after the Treaty of Berlin. In 1885 it functioned as a constitutional monarchy under Alexander I of Battenberg. Within the principality, the Bulgarian Army protected the state’s sovereignty and maintained internal security. Soldiers and officers served in organized infantry, cavalry, and artillery units, defending the nation from possible threats. The army emphasized discipline, loyalty, and national unity.
