Description
The Mikaelson family originated in 10th-century Norway with mortal parents Mikael and Esther, who became the first vampires using magic after the death of their youngest son Henrik by werewolves. The family includes the Original vampires Elijah, Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, and Finn, as well as their magically gifted older sister Freya, and the powerful hybrid Hope Mikaelson. Known for their immense power and complex, often tumultuous relationships, the Mikaelsons are bound by their vow "always and forever" and are considered the strongest supernatural beings in the world.
