Description
Chartered on October 9, 1845, Oriental Lodge No. 33 is Chicago's oldest active Masonic lodge. Founded by early civic leaders, the lodge lost its hall in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 but rebuilt within a year. Famous for later owning a historic 1892 temple building, the group now meets at the Jefferson Park Masonic Temple, focusing on history, fellowship, and self-development.
