Description

Loyalty. Kinship. Discipline. ━━━━━━━━━━━«SIG»━━━━━━━━━━━ Relentless and remorseless, the thunder claps and the tree bends. Just as this force of nature is the herald of subjugation, so are the Thunder Marines. The Thunder Marines served as the Sigmarite Empire's greatest military soldiers, being deployed to special operations and decimating interior and exterior threats. During the Sigmar-Phoenix war, Thunder Marines units scored many of the Sigmarite's greatest land victories over Phoenixia. Unfortunately, due to a string of blunders from military leadership, the Thunder Marines suffered heavy casualties, and were reserved for defense. During the invasion of the Sigmar homeworld, Thunder Marines played a major role in the defense of major cities and military bases. Most famously the defense of Superfortress Marion, where a platoon of Thunder Marines held the fortress for weeks. While eventually cleared, Phoenixians suffered heavy losses as a result.
