Description

The Official Group of the RMA What Is the RMA? The Roblox Music Association (RMA) is a music organization dedicated to supporting, organizing, and expanding music education within the Roblox Education community. RMA provides promotion and resources for schools, hosts events and competitions for our community, and serves as a platform for individuals and organizations to showcase and promote their programs and events. RMA History The RMA was founded in July 2022 by directors from several HBCUs, including former North Carolina A&T band director Dr. Kyle Kates. The organization was established in response to ongoing management challenges within the Roblox HBCU community. RMA’s first major event was the RMA Marching Showcase, which featured participation from multiple high school and collegiate bands, including the Spartan Marching Band and the Jackson State Sonic Boom of the South. Since its founding, the organization has continued to strengthen its reputation within the community.
