The Régiment de Normandie, created by Maréchal of France Concini, marquis d'Ancre was the favorite regiment of Queen Marie de' Medeci The regiment took part in multiple decisive French victories such as the Battle of Fontenoy in 1745 and was a key instrument to French victories.
