Description
The Communist Party of Venezuela (Spanish: Partido Comunista de Venezuela) is a Marxist-Leninist political party created in 1931 supported by the Comintern. The PCV follows policies of democratic centralism, and supports the abolition and redistribution of private property, the abolition of class society and divides and advocates for class war. The party holds seats in the National Assembly and largely supported the Chavista government, however economic changes and criticism of Venezuela's foreign policy puts the PCV in a difficult situation. Will the PCV continue its course in support of the Chavista government, or will the working masses, with the guidance of the vanguard party, overthrow or overshadow the PSUV government and make a revolutionary state for its people? That is up to you.
