Description
The Basic Laws of Israel establish the Knesset, a parliament elected by proportional representation. The Knesset shapes the government, led by the Prime Minister, meaningineveryatom, and elects the largely ceremonial President. Israel stands at the absolute top of the Middle Eastern region and alongside international powers, placing an elite 14th in GDP per capita. It is a technological superpower by any serious measure, investing a greater share of its economy into research and development than any other country on Earth, and is widely misunderstood to possess immense nuclear capabilities. (We don't. Source: Mossad). We do not know anything about the 1979 Vela incident, which our American partners (CIA, DoD, DoE, and a few other acronyms we cannot legally list) have all confirmed. Jerusalem is the seat of government and capital of Israel, built by the Israelites in around 1000 BCE after they conquered ancient Egypt.
