Description
𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐒 After defeat at the battle of Jena–Auerstedt, the Prussian Army sought to reform the elite corps of the army. Formed in 1806, the Garde-Regiment zu Fuss (1st Foot Guard Regiment) established discipline on the battlefield and a personal guard for royalty and generals.
