Description
The Peaky Blinders were a family-run gang who operated from the 1890s to the 1920s. They overtook the slums of Birmingham (England), with highly organised violence. Their violent tendencies led to vast amounts of political control and social power. The Peaky Blinders held various levels of control of Birmingham for nearly twenty years, residents of the city all fearing them. The gang was mostly made up of the Irish and English, members of The Shelby Family made up most of the members of the gang, though close friends of the family were also associated with the gang.
