Description
1187 is a community based around the events after the recapture of Jerusalem in 1187, just prior to the Third Crusade. 1187 is intended as a serious roleplaying community that prides itself in attention to historical accuracy. It is highly recommended you educate yourself in the history of the Crusades and Medieval era prior to joining the community. The main warring factions are the Lordship of Ibelin and Saladin's Army. Either faction is open to join and have the same objectives. The Lordship of Ibelin is aided by the Order of Hospitallers, which is a specialized faction that has limited entry and a capped membership.
