Description
449TH COMBAT AVIATION BRIGADE “Above the Best.” The 449th Combat Aviation Brigade stands as a proud aviation formation of the North Carolina Army National Guard, built upon discipline, courage, teamwork, and service. We rise above the battlefield—not because the mission is easy, but because our Soldiers are prepared to face every challenge together. From the cockpit to the ground, every Soldier has a purpose, every mission matters, and every member contributes to something greater than themselves. Our strength is not measured by the aircraft we operate, but by the people who stand beside us. Train with purpose. Serve with honor. Fly with courage. 449TH COMBAT AVIATION BRIGADE “Above the Best.”
