Description
The Armed Forces of the Bavarian Socialist Republic was formed from the old garrison troops sympathetic to the Socialist Secessionist Cause. In the wake of the revolution the troops formed the first soldier's council to coordinate the inevitable defense of the new Bavarian state. The joint police and garrison forces along with the government negotiated Bavaria's coexistence with Germany successfully securing the states of Bavaria, and Coburg under the Republic officially. Soon after with support of the people, The government formed new distinct Bavarian Military units to keep the fragile peace and protect against insurrection. Not long after, The Bavarian People's Armed Forces was decreed to a large crowd in the military headquarters in Coburg. Minister President: ConradHofman Minister of Defense: AlbertoFranzese
