Cohors Consularis Thanati — The Consular Cohort of Death — is an elite paramilitary unit sworn directly to the service of the Princeps Consiliarius. Cloaked in black and deep imperial purple, they are both executioners and guardians, striking from the shadows with surgical precision. Bearing skull-adorned armor and oval scuta emblazoned with winged death sigils, they operate as a cult-like warrior brotherhood, bound by oath to deliver imperial justice through fear and finality. Their presence alone signals impending death — a silent force of annihilation whose loyalty lies not to the Senate, nor the legions, but solely to the will of their commander. Whispers of “Thanati” follow in their wake, a name feared more than a legion, spoken only in hushed tones by those lucky enough to survive their passing.
