Description
The Soviet People’s Paramilitary Operations Force (SPPOF) was founded within the Soviet Union as an independent entity, entirely separate from the formal governments of the Soviet Socialist Republics. It operates autonomously, with no official ties to the Ministry of Defense, the KGB, or any other state organ. SPPOF’s responsibilities include: Training and instructing elite personnel in paramilitary tactics, unconventional warfare, and covert operations. Counter-terrorism operations, both domestically and abroad, aimed at preventing attacks against Soviet citizens and infrastructure. Defending Soviet interests in critical regions, through rapid deployment, reconnaissance, sabotage, and direct-action missions.
