The Nightsmen of the Rift, is an Order of Battlemages established by the Jarl of Riften in response to the increased incursions by the Aldmeri Dominion against the newly established realm. Since the Nords often frown upon magic users, the Nightsmen aren't completely magicians rather utilizing certain specialized magicka abilities with the combination enchanted armour and weaponry.
