Description

Portsmouth is a historic dockyard city in the south of the UK. For hundreds of years it has been a pivotal part of worldwide naval activities, being the leading navy base and home of the Royal Navy since the dawn of activies in AD ~400. Portsmouth is home to a unique dialect unlike any other in the world and culturally it is a country of it's own, situated on the only island city in the UK. With a history of naval warfare this spreads into the city culture leading to an adamant following in the local football team and fierce animosity to Southampton and those from it, even going as far to have outrageous riots and mass hooligans as the norm. Portsmouth is rich in culture and has quite possibly had the biggest impact on the world out of any city, with things such as the production line, umbrella, metal production, metal warships and even the Industrial Revolution starting in the city.
