The House of Janus is a female only prisoners’ union. The Head Prisoner, Charlotte Winter, was a nurse in the German Red Cross and intentionally got arrested. She did not take it anymore seeing people die. She formed this prisoners’ union because some of her friends were imprisoned too, it then expanded to the regular female inmates. She gave them all medical training. The Prison Guards took advantage to this and made them do hard labor, such as planting land mines, digging trenches, etc. ——— CLOTHING REGULATIONS ——— Wear the Inmate Uniform, it is located inside of the Housing block Wear the Headscarf at all times, it is located inside of the Housing block ——— RULES ——— Follow all orders from Prison Guards, even if it will result in your death. Refer fellow Prisoners as “Sisters”. Bow down to Prison Guards as they pass by. Do not escape from the jail. Never hurt someone in any situation. Give medical attention to anyone no matter what.
