Description

Following the disastrous attempts made by the Office of Strategic Services to acquire and secure occult artifacts during the Second World War, the Federal Government sought to create a new agency to write the wrongs of its predecessors. The United States National Recovery Office assumed the responsibilities of the former Office of Strategic Services' scientific teams. Provided with adequate federal funding and several facilities across the country, the NRO is responsible for the discovery, storage, and study of anomalous, esoteric, and occult artifacts in the interest of national security.
