Traffic & Transport Security Department | 교통보위국 | #479088009
Description
The Traffic Control Department is responsible for maintaining order, discipline, and state authority on all roads, transport routes, and traffic infrastructure within the nation. This department enforces traffic laws, regulates civilian and state transportation, supervises checkpoints, and ensures the uninterrupted movement of government, military, and essential vehicles. It plays a critical role in public order, internal security, and logistical stability. Personnel of the Traffic Control Department are authorized to conduct inspections, stop and search vehicles, enforce compliance with state regulations, and report violations to higher authorities. Coordination with other departments of the Ministry of Social Security and the Ministry of State Security is mandatory when matters of national security arise. Failure to comply with traffic regulations is considered a violation of public order and will be dealt with accordingly. Order on the roads is order in the state.
