Description
After the death of Joseph SmiXth his followers, know as Mormons were forced to leave Nauvoo, Illinois. After Joseph's death, Brigham Young was commanded to lead the Mormon's westward to the modern-day state of Utah. While the Mormons were traveling to Utah, the Mexican American war was occurring, in July #### On July ### #### Young and the Mormons made it to the Salt Lake valley.
