The Genovese Crime Family. The Genovese Crime family is a famous crime family that rules New York in the 50's all the way to early 2000's. It was founded by made man Vito Genovese after previously being the Luciano Crime family. It soon grew to fame and had operations all around the United States. It was known as the Rolls Royce of Mafias. The Genovese family was established as the Morello gang around 1892 running out of the Bronx and East Harlem. They were originally called the ##### ###### mob established by Giuseppe Morello and Ignazio “the Wolf” Lupo. Motto: “ Built from Blood." Areas of Operation: New York City, Palm Springs, Realistic Roleplay 2, and Teloma County.
