Description
COHORTES PRAETORIANAE The Praetorian Cohorts, also known as the Praetorian Guard, are an elite paramilitary organization responsible for the safety of the highest ranking magistrates of the Roman Republic, such as the consuls and the dictator. Within the Guard are the best soldiers and tacticians Rome has to offer. Guardsmen hold powerful authority, such as immunity to Lex Basics and the ability to criminalize enemies of Rome. The Praetorian Cohorts are an exclusive organization, with recruits being hand-picked by its officers. Suitable recruits for the Praetorian Cohorts are often active legionnaires able to act with intelligence, with a passionate loyalty to Rome and her people.
