Description
"Paulatim." (Latin for "Little by little.") The Royal Australian Army Medical Corps is responsible for the medical care of other Australian Army soldiers. The role of the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps is to contribute to the Army’s operational capability through the conservation of manpower by promoting health and well-being, through the prevention of disease and injury, and through the care, treatment and evacuation of sick and wounded. The group is led by a Commanding Officer, and the Medical Director is the overseer of the corps. They may take command when they deem the Commanding Officer unfit for duty, or when there is no Commanding Officer.
