Presley County Sheriff's Department #4821001
Description
aut nihil perfectum In 1850 Presley's population was exponentially increasing and so a small militia was created to keep the county safe, people who joined this "militia" were volunteers with no training. After 1856 members of this militia received formal training, these volunteers were named "deputies" and were given proper equipment. In 1862 the government established a Sheriff's Office. The Presley County Sheriff's Office still serves to this day patrolling the county, its towns and cities, focusing on areas without municipal police services. Employee Budget: -
