Description
The Kingdom of France was one of the major powers during the Seven Years' War (1756–1763), ruled by King Louis XV. France fought alongside Austria, Russia, and other allies against Great Britain and Prussia in a global conflict that spanned Europe, North America, the Caribbean, India, and the seas. While France possessed one of the largest armies in Europe and a vast colonial empire, it suffered significant defeats, particularly at the hands of Britain. The war ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763, forcing France to surrender most of its North American territories, including Canada, and weakening its overseas empire. Despite remaining a powerful European kingdom, the costly war left France with heavy debts and political challenges that contributed to the growing unrest leading up to the French Revolution. Now a new king has taken the throne and it ready to rebuild france and win the 7 years wars.
