Description
The City of Lander Police Department (LPD), tasked with overseeing Lander—often referred to as the "Metropolis of the East Coast"—is a pivotal institution with a dual legacy of high effectiveness and severe controversy. Established in 1861 from the amalgamation of two distinct constabularies during the Civil War, the LPD was initially formed to suppress the considerable civil unrest attributed to the socio-economic turbulence of the era.
