The Spanish were conquered by the French. Soon The Spanish Revolt started in 1812 against the newly placed government. Troops marched along to the Kings Palace and took Joseph Bonaparte. On December 11th 1813, Ferdinand VII took his throne back as the re-established King of Spain. This caused Spain to turn on against The French Empire and their imperial leader Napoleon.
