Description
The USNSI Antarctic Research Division is responsible for the operation and management of United States National Science Institute facilities throughout Antarctica. The Division oversees research programs involving climatology, atmospheric science, geology, engineering, communications, and polar operations. Personnel assigned to the Division maintain remote research stations, conduct field expeditions, monitor environmental conditions, and support long-term scientific observation programs across the Antarctic continent.
