Description
The Special Duties Unit (SDU) is a Tier 1 paramilitary unit composed of veterans from the AEGIS Corporation and the finest talent the wasteland has to offer. The unit traces its origins to the Elite Task Force (ETF), a respected force-for-hire that supported both AEGIS and independent wasteland operations. Following the ETF's disbandment, the SDU emerged as its successor, carrying forward its experience, discipline, and mission-first mindset. Today, the SDU provides overwhelming firepower and tactical support to allied factions while protecting beginner wastelanders and AEGIS non-combat personnel operating in hostile territory. The unit is divided into two specialised elements: Detachment Delta for direct action and close-quarters operations, and the 31st Rangers for reconnaissance, overwatch, and precision engagements.
