Description
VX-417-B, also known as "Viridion" is a distant exoplanet not far from earth. It was terraformed and seeded with life from the Carboniferous era of Earth by an unknown, long-gone alien race. Viridion was abandoned for 358.86 million years, during which it experienced mass extinctions, continental drift, and the development of new ecosystems. The planet was rediscovered by humanity in the 2500's, uncovering a world both eerily familiar and alien at once, with forests of ancient plant lineages, and animals descended from long-extinct earth species, twisted by hundreds of millions of years of independent evolution.
