海軍陸戰隊陸戰六六旅駐地北部（桃園龜山、林口），為精銳機械化步兵旅，素有「天下第一師」之稱。主要任務為大臺北地區機動部署、重要目標防護、反滲透與反空降，是捍衛中樞防衛作戰的先鋒部隊，傳未來將直屬參謀本部轉型為戰略預備隊。The 66th Marine Brigade, stationed in northern Taiwan (Guishan and Linkou in Taoyuan), is an elite mechanized infantry brigade, often referred to as the "Number One Division in the World." Its main missions are mobile deployment in the Greater Taipei area, protection of key targets, counter-infiltration, and counter-airborne operations. It is the vanguard force in defending the central command and is rumored to be transforming into a strategic reserve force directly under the General Staff Headquarters in the future.
