Santa Flora City FD ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In 1911, the City of Santa Flora replaced its volunteer fire suppression units with full-time firefighters. In 1940, the City acquired its first full-time fire station. By the fall of 1999, the Santa Flora Fire Department began providing Advanced Life Support coverage. The department currently offers regular and specialized services to the City. The department has a full-time Operations Bureau, encompassing structural fire suppression and emergency medical services, a full-time seasonal Marine Safety Division, and a part-time Special Operations Bureau, encompassing wildland fire suppression and technical rescue. Santa Flora FD receives mutual aid for hazardous materials incident response from the Scotts Valley Fire Department as a part of the Santa Flora Hazardous Material Interagency Team.
