The geopolitical situation that led to the outbreak of the long-feared global nuclear war was prompted primarily by the onset of a worldwide energy crisis when the supplies of fossil fuels finally began to run out by the year 2050. The Resource Wars started and United Nations was disbanded, ending with the Great War in 2077. "Courage Today, Victory Tomorrow!"
