Gunpowder: Napoleonic Wars is a new project designed to bring a fresh set of tools and look to the Napoleonic genre. We aim to provide everybody with the tech that we create in hopes that it will give life to the genre once more, and potentially spark the next generation of this genre. Most things we create will be open source to allow the community to expand and not be limited by our ideas. Here are a few things we plan on creating: ~ Weaponry (Muskets, Flintlock Pistols, Sabres, etc.) ~ Artillery (Cannons, Mortars, etc.) ~ Cavalry (Horses, Cavalry Swords, etc.) ~ Ships (Ship Of The Line, Frigate, Sloop Of War, etc.) ~ GUIs (Leaderboards, Loadout Systems, HUD, etc.) We understand most of this has been created many times before by other groups or individuals, but with that said there hasn’t been any major advancements or releases for a while and we would love to change that.
