Description
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an intergovernmental organization established on June 18, 2002. Its purpose is to promote cooperation among Asian countries on a continental scale and to facilitate coordination among various regional organizations, including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). It is the first international organization to cover the whole of Asia. The ACD Secretariat is located in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
