Pioneer Tailors & Co. Pioneer Tailors, originally 'Pioneerwear' was a high end clothing brand which was founded by a member of the Bordeyn Family in 1911 in South Africa, the popularity was quick to spread around white settlers of the new colonies in Africa, eventually landing in Britain it gained total popularity in 1918 following the First World War and becoming one of Britain's top brands in tailoring and suit making. The company was purchased in 1964 by Sir Henry Titchfield and shortly followed the name change to Pioneer Tailors & Co.
