Description
The Ryx Empire hails from the planet of Ryxios, a large world with three moons [Prysaeus, Etran, Treysav] The planet is currently in a period of global thaw and as such the majority of Ryxios continues to be vast areas tundra. The atmosphere is hydrogen-oxygen based [87-13%] [During the previous planetary period known as 'The Great Frost', the Ryx were saved from extinction by a Human exploration fleet that happened to be surveying the planet for intelligent life. Using technology brought by Humanity, the Ryx were able to develop environmental suits and terraforming methods to allow them to survive their icy world, and shortly after, colonize their moons and surrounding systems. Due to surviving in environmental suits for nearly 600 years, the Ryx are unable to survive without them due to a lower immune system and lack of bodily temperature regulation.]
