Description

This small platoon consists of light infantry in the 198th CDR will focus on close quarter combat. Every member is trained with getting up close and personal with their opponent, making them a skilled killer. One of the main duties of the unit is to hold/defend a certain area such as the walled town after the bridge for long as possible. They also conduct assassinations on important people like allied special forces members who can possibly pose a threat to fellow PAVN forces. Another common thing the platoon will do is ambushes, demolitions, and sabotages. If an enemy patrol is spotted, they will improvise and coordinate an attack quickly. Basically, in a nutshell, the platoon of the 198th CDR will focus on close quarter combat within urban areas like cities and tight towns, ambushes on enemy patrols, demolition, sabotaging, and assassinations on dangerous allied forces.
