Description
The United States Army Special Forces participated heavily in the Vietnam War in covert operations and advisory roles from early stages of American operations towards the end of the conflict. Special Forces personnel performed reconnaissance patrols, direct action missions, and acted as advisors to ARVN ranger and special forces units.
