Established in 1968, with roots going as far back as 1878, British Leyland was the pioneering brand of the British Automotive Industry, that mainly produced generic family cars, as well as executive cars and commercial vehicles. In 1986, British Leyland dissolved, and it's successor would be Rover Group.
