Description

The Hochlandian Confederation stands as a prosperous yet increasingly paranoid republic in a world where old rivalries and new ambitions threaten an already fragile peace. Growing interference from its eastern neighbor, Koszeg, has left the government wary of foreign influence, with sabotage and political meddling becoming persistent concerns. In response, Hochlandia has expanded its armed forces, fielding a large modern army alongside armored cars, a fledgling air corps, and a modest coastal defense fleet. Yet the Confederation remains dependent on foreign trade, particularly through Aeqor, leaving its position vulnerable to the shifting relationships of the region. As tensions mount, Hochlandia must balance its democratic traditions, economic interests, and growing military strength, hoping its preparations will be enough to keep the conflicts of A Collapsing World beyond its borders.
